Areas of Support

Postpartum Support

If after childbirth or an operation you find yourself without family and loved ones nearby, we will try to organize the help you need during recovery — practical, human support in one of the most vulnerable periods of life.

How We May Help

  • A ride from the hospital and help getting settled at home.
  • Groceries and meal support during recovery.
  • Help with basic household tasks.
  • A volunteer who can simply be nearby while you recover, depending on location and availability.
  • Psychological support for postpartum depression and anxiety, with referrals to specialists.

The scope and format of help are determined individually and depend on the situation, the Foundation’s resources and program criteria.
